Nine year old Chris enjoys arts and crafts, board games, riding a bike, reading, playing on the computer, karate, boxing and family get-togethers. Chris’s current foster family has a lot of family get-togethers and there is nothing that he enjoys more!
Academically, Chris excels and his favorite subject is science. He loves to do experiments and recently learned and mastered the components of a lava lamp. Chris considers himself a, “master Lego builder” and is torn between being an “animal biologist” or a “tree house builder,” when he grows up.
Chris will do best in a one or two parent home, where he is the youngest child or the only child in the home. He will do well with pets and will need a home that is structured and follows a routine. A home for Chris would have to have set and clear expectations, so he is aware of what is needed from him. A “safe” home is something that is very important to Chris and he will need daily reminders that he is safe and cared for.
