Meet four year old D’Angelo!
D’Angelo is a sweet and smiley child who loves all things music! D’Angelo can’t hold back his laughs when people move his arms and pretend that he is a drummer. His favorite toys are ones that play music and/or make sounds and infant games on the IPad. D’Angelo also likes being read to, his favorite book is “No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” and he like to watch shows like “Baby Signing Time” and “Baby Einstein.” He will sing along to interactive books and shows and whomever D’Angelo is placed with will need to enjoy music and singing along too.
D’Angelo is DDD and ALTCHS eligible, he currently attends a preschool for the blind and visually impaired and really enjoys school.
D’Angelo needs a family who is experienced with caring for special needs children. He needs a two-parent home with few or no children. It is recommended that D’Angelo is placed with a family who is loving and who will have the time, patience and resources to care for his needs. A family needs to understand that D’Angelo requires constant daily care and that they will need to have organizational skills in order to maintain for all of his appointments and records. A family needs to be smoke free, dust free, pet free and perfume free to help with D’Angelo’s asthma as any kind of lung infection can greatly affect his health.
