Frequently Asked Questions

Adoption FAQ

Who are the adoptive families?

AASK places children with families who can best meet the child's needs. This includes adults who are single, married or coupled, with or without children. Adoptive parents can be of a different race or ethnic background than their adopted child. They can own or rent their home. They do not have to have all the answers; they just need a big heart and a willingness to make a life-long commitment to love and care for the child.

What are the qualifications to adopt?

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
